Dukas Linden Public Relations (DLPR)—a leading independent communications agency serving clients in the financial services, asset management, fintech and professional services sectors—announced that Shree Dhond has been promoted to Senior Vice President.
Dhond, who had been a Vice President with DLPR, heads the firm’s Alternative and Institutional Practice Group, which represents a range of global asset managers, including private equity firms, hedge funds, and various other institutional investment managers. DLPR’s asset and wealth management clients collectively represent assets under management of more than $2 trillion.
As Senior Vice President, Dhond will run one of DLPR’s largest practice groups. In his role, he will develop and execute communications strategies that leverage traditional and social media, proprietary content creation, strategic messaging, media and presentation coaching services and high-profile speaking engagements. Dhond joined DLPR as an Account Supervisor in 2015. He subsequently was promoted to Director and then to Vice President in 2017.
“Shree exemplifies the type of talented, highly motivated professionals we aim to attract to DLPR to serve the needs of our clients in a rapidly changing global financial services environment,” said Richard Dukas, Chairman & CEO of the agency. “He has demonstrated a strong commitment to client service, exceptional account management skills, the ability to move programs forward, and the strategic and creative thinking needed to differentiate our clients in a competitive marketplace.”
Prior to joining DLPR, Dhond worked at the New York-based financial communications consultancy the Neibart Group, and earlier worked at an emerging markets investment firm. He graduated from Middlebury College with a B.A. in economics.
