“For nearly 35 years, MP&F has been the firm that businesses turn to when they want to get a foothold in the Nashville community,” said Alice Chapman, MP&F’s managing partner. “Formalizing our expertise in connecting businesses to the community will help us keep pace with our rapidly changing and growing city, and we know that, under Brittany’s leadership, we have the team in place to do just that.”

Irby, who joined MP&F in June 2019 as an account supervisor, will continue to lead existing client teams while also engaging with new clients who wish to establish or build a presence in Nashville. In her two-year tenure with MP&F, Irby has led account teams for the National Museum of African American Music, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Metro Nashville Public Schools and more.

“Brittany has a passion for connecting people, and she has put that passion to work for a number of our clients,” said MP&F partner Mary Elizbeth Davis. “There is no one else with the combination of inspiration, tenacity and desire to help others that Brittany has. She is the perfect person to lead this new endeavor.”

Irby’s community involvement includes current leadership and board positions for the Junior League of Nashville and the Faith Family Medical Center. Additionally, she is a member of the Nashville Chapter of PRSA, Nashville Women of Color in Communications, the Hendersonville Area (Tenn.) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, Nashville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and the Tennessee State University National Alumni Association.

Prior to joining MP&F, Irby worked as a project manager for the Nashville Public Education Foundation, the Imagination Library manager for United Way of Greater Nashville and the Education manager for the Center for Nonprofit Management.
